How to Connect Two External Limit Switches to Electric Linear Actuator

Application:
We can connect one or two external limit switches to the linear actuator and use them to flexibly adjust the travel range of the linear actuator. For example, the normal stroke of this linear actuator is 500MM, we can connect one or two limit switches according to actual needs, so that we can set different motion ranges within the 500MM row and range, such as 0-300MM or 100-400MM and so on in different ranges.

Parameters:
Model: 0010012
Rated Current: 15A
Four terminals: Two Normally Open terminals and Two Normally Closed terminals.
Can be used with manual switch or remote switch to control linear actuator.

Wiring for manual switch:
If use a manual switch to control the linear actuator, do as following:
1. Connect two wires of DC power supply to two power terminals of the manual switch, and you can exchange these two wires to change the moving direction of linear actuator.
2. Connect the linear actuator, two limit switches and the two diodes to the manual switch, please follow the connection diagram below for specific wiring.

Operation by manual switch:
1. Press and hold the button <UP> on the manual switch: linear actuator extends outward, when it moves to the position of a limit switch, the linear actuator will automatically stop.
2. Press and hold the button <DOWN> on the manual switch: linear actuator inward retracts, when it moves to the position of another limit switch, the linear actuator will automatically stop.

Wiring for remote switch:
If use a remote switch to control the linear actuator, do as following:
1. Connect two wires of DC power supply to two terminals of the remote switch input.
2. Connect two wires of linear actuator to two terminals <Motor> of the controller, and you can exchange these two wires to change the moving direction of linear actuator.
3. Connect two limit switches to the limit control terminals of the remote switch, please follow the connection diagram below for specific wiring.

Operation by remote switch:
1. Press and hold the button ▲ on the remote: linear actuator extends outward, when it moves to the position of a limit switch, the linear actuator will automatically stop.
2. Press and hold the button ▼ on the remote: linear actuator inward retracts, when it moves to the position of another limit switch, the linear actuator will automatically stop.
