The linear actuator can be customized with built-in limit switch signal output function, with four-core, five-core or six-core wire types optional configuration. It can provide two separate feedback signals when the linear actuator moves to two end positions.

Type 1: Four-core Wire Linear Actuator with Built-in Normally Open Limit Switch Signal Output

When the linear actuator is fully retracted, signal wire 2 and the negative pole of the power supply are connected.
When the linear actuator is extended outward, the lower limit switch is triggered, and the signal wire 2 is disconnected from the negative pole of the power supply.
When the linear actuator is extended to the end position, the upper limit switch is triggered, the linear actuator stops automatically, and the signal wire 1 and the negative pole of the power supply are connected.
When the linear actuator is retracted inward, the upper limit switch is triggered, and the signal wire 1 is disconnected from the negative pole of the power supply.
When the linear actuator is retracted to the end position, the lower limit switch is triggered, the linear actuator stops automatically, and signal wire 2 is connected with the negative pole of the power supply.

Type 2: Five-core Wire Linear Actuator with Built-in Normally Open Limit Switch Signal Output

When the linear actuator is fully retracted, signal wire 2 and the common wire are connected.
When the linear actuator is extended outward, the lower limit switch is triggered, and the signal wire 2 is disconnected from the common wire.
When the linear actuator is extended to the end position, the upper limit switch is triggered, and the signal wire 1 and the common wire are connected, but the linear actuator will not stop automatically, you need to use an external controller or PLC to stop the linear actuator.
When the linear actuator is retracted inward, the upper limit switch is triggered, and the signal wire 1 is disconnected from the common wire.
When the linear actuator is retracted to the end position, the lower limit switch is triggered, and signal wire 2 is connected with the common wire, but the linear actuator will not stop automatically, you need to use an external controller or PLC to stop the linear actuator.

Type 3: Six-core Wire Linear Actuator with Built-in Normally Closed Limit Switch Signal Output

When the linear actuator is fully retracted, signal wire 3 and signal wire 4 are disconnected.
When the linear actuator is extended outward, the lower limit switch is triggered, and signal wire 3 and signal wire 4 are connected.
When the linear actuator is extended to the end position, the upper limit switch is triggered, and signal wire 1 and signal wire 2 are disconnected, but the linear actuator will not stop automatically, you need to use an external controller or PLC to stop the linear actuator.
When the linear actuator is retracted inward, the upper limit switch is triggered, and signal wire 1 and signal wire 2 are connected.
When the linear actuator is retracted to the end position, the lower limit switch is triggered, and signal wire 3 and signal wire 4 are disconnected, but the linear actuator will not stop automatically, you need to use an external controller or PLC to stop the linear actuator.
